Catherine Miller Hahn is a Christian, and a retired thirty-five-year teaching veteran of Literature, Theatre, Humanities, Education, and Communication classes on the university, community college, and high school levels in Missouri, Kansas, and Arizona. Catherine has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications and Business from Missouri State University, a master’s degree in Theatrical Direction from the University of Kansas, and completed the Ph.D. coursework in the Philosophy of Theatre and Film with cognates in Psychology and Shakespeare, also from KU. Catherine has directed over seventy-five theatrical productions on academic, community, and professional levels. She is Director Emeritus on the Board of Directors for Prescott, Arizona, Community Center for the Arts. Some of Catherine’s published works can be found in The Hidden River Cache 2010 and in the 2008, 2009, and 2010 issues of Yavapai College Creative Arts Magazine, Threshold. She won both first and second places for nonfiction in the 2009 Professional Writers of Prescott Contest, and first place for nonfiction in the 2010 Hassayampa Writers Club Contest. Catherine and her husband, Frank have lived in Prescott, Arizona, since 1993. They share four children, three grandsons, and their terrier mix dog, Molly.
